Nashta Exchange

Winner of a Design Ignites Change Student Fellowship, Nashta Exchange teaches U.S. high school students how to cook and sell Pav Bhaji, a popular Indian dish, at their very own food stall. All of the proceeds go towards buying meals for under-privileged high schoolers in India. Tool kits were designed featuring everything the students need to set up their own Pav Bhaji pop-up stand as well as a blog providing a platform where both student groups can interact. Within the kit there are stickers/stamps, aprons, and signage for students to create their own DIY branded restaurant, as well as, a how-to manual. Find more about the pilot project here.
